Jamaica Dispatch Services Limited is a full service ground handling company that operates at both the Sangster and Norman Manley International Airports. The company which has its head offices in Montego Bay, Jamaica was incorporated in 1981 and has been in the ground handling business for over 27 years.
Jamaica Dispatch Services Limited which is owned by GCG Ground Services (St. Lucia Ltd) a subsidiary of Goddard Enterprises Ltd of Barbados and is overseen by Goddard Catering Group HDQ in Florida prides itself in delivering quality service.
Since its incorpation Jamaica Dispatch Services has achieved a number of firsts in Jamaica. The company handled the first B-757, A-340, MD-11, A-330, MD-83, and MD-85 to have operated in Jamaica.
The company’s roster of clients over the years include several of the world’s leading airlines such as: Alitalia, American Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, Leisure International Airways, Mexicana Airlines, LanChile Airlines, Omni Air International, Air Lanka, Ryan International Airlines, Sky King, Livingston S.P.A. and several other carriers operating narrow and wide bodied aircraft. Currently, Jamaica Dispatch Services handles Thomson Airways, Jetairfly, Arkefly, Tame, USA 3000 Airlines, Iberworld Airlines, Orbest S.A., United Airlines, US Airways, Spirit Airlines, Caribbean Airlines (Air Jamaica and British Airways – ramp handling only), Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd, Air Tran Airways and several private business and corporate aircraft.
Jamaica Dispatch Services Limited continues to provide a variety of Airline services including Passenger Handling, Cargo and Ramp Handling to both scheduled and non-scheduled Airlines.
Jamaica Dispatch Services Limited has over three hundred and forty (340) well trained and professional employees deployed over Sangster and Norman Manley International Airport. Customer service department comprises one hundred and thirty (130) staff and two hundred (200) are in ramp operations.
The management team consists of individuals who have combined years of experience in the airport /airline /ground handling business in excess of 120 years. This has allowed the company to deliver quality customer service over the years, which has been recognized by its clients who from time to time have shown their appreciation by selecting the company for various awards of excellence in service delivery.
